Welcome to my world

My world is a busy one (to say the least!) but I truly wouldn't change a thing. Finding a balance is an everyday challenge for sure. I am passionate about my God, my family, photography and design. This blog is just going to be about everything.

I have an amazing husband, Bryson, who is a hard worker and "professional" hunter. He is my biggest fan AND largest Critic! I guess that's why I keep him around. Charlotte is my 3 year old tender-hearted little girl that loves a good princess story and is one of my favorite subjects to photograph. Pierson is my 1-1/2 year old firecracker. He is ALL boy and plays with choo choo's, dinosaurs, and loves to suck the juice out of any marker within reach. (There aren't any within reach anymore).

How I see things

Photography isn't just a hobby for me, it is my career and I am passionate about what I do. I am constantly learning from seminars, webinars, other professionals, and books to better my skills as a photographer and designer. I also know my software well, so I can create images that show my subjects as works of art. My design background is a great asset in setting me apart from other professional photographers. I design portrait boards to make the walls of your home tell a story.

Ryan loves KU!

Okay, so I graduated from KSU, and I love my Wildcats, but I do not feel any sort of hatred to the other side… being KU. They might have a silly mascot and their colors are a little primary for me, but if they are playing Missouri, I will cheer them on!

I recently took some really cool birthday photos of this 9 year old KU fan. His family loves the Jayhawk’s, and I had so much fun editing these in Lightroom and making a cool poster for his room. Maybe all his KU friends will call me now and want a poster too. : ) I know his brother is next in line…. maybe Carson will want some purple in his picture… probably not though huh?
