Willcott Family

Jennifer and Sean have 3 adorable children here, and one precious baby girl in heaven.  Several weeks ago baby Kinley was born to Jennifer and Sean.  She was very early, but she was such a little fighter!  It seemed that things were going well, and then suddenly they weren’t.  I had a phone call from Jennifer asking me to come to the hospital to photograph Kinley because she wasn’t going to make it.  I was out of town and I frantically called photographer friends to see if they could get to the hospital quickly to get these priceless images done for them.  My good friend Kristi Ditmer was able to do it, and gladly accepted this heart wrenching assignment.  I loved the images she was able to capture, they are priceless.  Kinley truly was beautiful and her tiny features were perfectly formed by an Awesome Creator.  I especially loved an image Kristi captured of her tiny hand around her daddy’s finger.

Jennifer wanted to do family photographs this fall and I brainstormed awhile to try to include Kinley in the images.  I suggested we use balloons… They would each have one and in honor of Kinley they would let them go up to heaven.  Looking back at these images now, I am so emotional!  The sunlight was perfect and the field behind their house was a beautiful place to release the balloons.  I hope that the images captured will always be treasured and that Kinley’s big sisters Natalie and Brooke, and big brother Michael will have good memories from that evening.

Thanks Willcott family for letting me be a part of such an intimate moment, and I pray that your hearts will heal and you look forward to the day when you will once again hold Kinley in your arms in Heaven.
