I just love babies!!! Have I said that before? I usually photograph newborns naked…. because that is just how they were born, and pampers aren’t really cute in photographs. Ellis decided to potty (very normal) with in the first few seconds of being photographed… it wasn’t just a little potty, she soaked the blankets and props. I just assumed she couldn’t do much more after that. I was sooo wrong. Addie (momma) is the best sport I know, and didn’t let a little (or a lot) of baby pee pee running down her front and legs bother her much.
Addie… I hope it was worth it! I just edited a few images and really really love what we captured. Ellis was a bright eyed baby for a few images and slept when we needed her to as well she was the perfect age for this session. I really stress getting newborns in before they are 2 weeks old. I prefer them to be 5-10 days. After 2 weeks don’t sleep quite as easily. They also loose that fetal tuck and like to spread there arms and legs out when they are 2 or more weeks.
Thanks for letting me photograph your tiny bundle of joy. She is so sweet and I am so honored to photograph her first session.
