Baby Turner

I love love love newborns…. and photographing them.   I had so much fun with Katie and Jared (awesome new parents) and appreciate Katie giving me a little creative freedom with Turner.  Katie is a very talented artist and also an art teacher so I did feel like I could be a little more adventurous and creative with their session.  It is hard to stay creative when I have photographed so many baby boys lately, and I want to give them each something different, so it is a challenge and I enjoy that too.

Turner couldn’t have been better to photograph.  He is such a good baby, and besides making a couple loads of laundry for me, he didn’t even cry.

I am catching up on sessions, and plan to do a giant blog post of some of my favorites from the last few weeks…. there are just so many!!! Thanks to my clients and friends for your patience.  Being a “one woman show” can be tough, and I really do appreciate every person that comes to me to capture some very special moments.  I have said it like a thousand times now, but it truly is an honor for me.   I am looking forward to 2011 and everything it holds, including the birth of my second son.  Every baby boy I get to photograph makes me more and more excited to meet my own little man.
