When life gives you snow… you’ve got to eat it!

We woke up this morning to a beautiful scene!  At least 4-5 inches of snow was covering the ground and it is STILL falling! Pierson doesn’t remember this white stuff from last year, and when Charlotte asked if we could eat snow for breakfast Pierson said “That is yucky sissy.”  Well, it isn’t yucky when it has lemonade sugar all over it!  I really don’t know if it is even a good idea to eat snow (of course I know not to eat it when it is yellow!) but it is so fun, so we had it for breakfast after our oatmeal.:)

I am vowing to do a lot more of my life in this blog for 2011, so here is the start of that!  I love taking photos of my very favorite subjects and soon their little brother will learn that he might as well get use to a camera in his face as well.  These moments with my kids as this age are fleeting, and I am loving every minute of being their mommy.  It isn’t always easy (rarely is it easy actually) but the rewards are so great.

So get out there today!  Play in it, roll it in to a man with a carrot nose, or just eat it!  I promise it does taste pretty good… with lots of sugary stuff on it!

Lindsey - Love the pictures…they are so sweet! We just came in from playing in the snow. My kids had a blast and Maddie enjoyed eating it. :-)
